I am a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist based in Orpington, Kent. I have a Masters Degree in Therapeutic Counselling (BACP accredited) and an Advanced Post Graduate qualification in Educational Psychology. I am a trained Supervisor working with Counsellors and Trainee Counsellors. I work with individuals, children and young people and couples. I am also a qualified Mother and Daughter Coach (see more).

I am a registered member of the BACP. I bring many years of life experience to my role as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist and as a Supervisor. Also, as a teacher and a mother of three children. I have trained with Rosjke Hasseltine and hold an International Mother-Daughter Coaching qualification and a Tavistock Relationships Certificate for working with couples.

Confidentiality and safeguarding

All sessions are confidential and I would ask you to read my confidentiality statement. In addition you will need to sign a contract of agreement if you decide to take up sessions. I will go through this with you and ask you to sign both at our first session together.

If I am worried about your safety as a consequence of either your own actions or those of someone else, I would want to help you to find the best way to keep yourself safe.

The way I work:

I offer person-centred therapy alongside Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic theory. These will be adapted to your individual needs. I attend regular Continual Development trainings to keep my qualifications and training up to date.
